Like every website, our servers do handle some technical data when you visit, such as your IP address. Sections 2 to 4 explain exactly what that is and what it is used for.
The online puzzle games on this Site (for example Word Fill-In, Number Fill-In, Word Search, Number Search, Sudoku, Suguru, Binary Puzzle, Math Crossword, Math Paths, Chess Puzzles and Math Shooter) run in your browser. When a game asks our server for a new puzzle, the following happens:
Our web server keeps technical logs of requests (IP address, date and time, requested address, browser type and the referring page). We use them to keep the Site secure and running, to find errors and to stop abuse. Log entries are kept only for a limited time (the log is rotated automatically, so old entries are deleted) and are used, in an anonymized form, to count visits to the pages of the Site.
The country of a visit is determined with a geolocation database that runs on our own server; the address is not sent to a third party for this.
We process the technical data described in sections 2 and 3 because it is necessary for the Site to work and to keep it secure, and to understand in aggregate how the Site is used (our legitimate interests). Saving on your device (section 2) happens only after you have turned it on and confirmed it. Because the puzzle statistics contain only anonymous totals and we cannot identify you from the random identifier or from the totals, we may not be able to link such data to you; for server logs you can contact us at the address below.
Our Site may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
Our Site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information through a third-party service linked from our Site, please contact that service directly.
